Pans People versus Hot Gossip

It’s Steve Caldwell’s birthday. Today my good mate Steve is… you know, I don’t actually know how old?!?! I think we’re about the same age. For instance, when we go to night clubs we sit in a corner and say stuff like, “It’s nice to see the young people enjoying themselves.” I don’t see enough of the chap that was my Best Man on October 14th, but one thing is for sure, he’s a top guy. I would like to think, infact, I’m going to just accept, that our late fathers have somehow met up in Heaven’s ‘Fox and Hounds’, and looking down are hysterically laughing at the fact we’re both turning into our Dads. Okay we’re not yet at the elasticated jeans stage, but if Top of the Pops were still on, I bet we’d both comment that; “You can’t hear the words these days.”

You\’re quite right we don\’t see enough of each other. But then you do have a lovely new wife to keep you busy now days. On that note has she taught you how to wash up the dishes correctly yet? Looks stage right and shouts: \”Turn that bloody racket down I can\’t hear myself type.\” Returns to flat screen. You\’ll be pleased to know I have just bought myself a bike as part of my \”Get Fit in 07\” madness. To be honest I figured it easier to lose weight than give up the fags, and I didn\’t much fancy sharing overcrowded changing rooms with sweaty six packs trying to prove they should have been picked for the England XV. So, looking forward to saddling up with \’me\’ I-pod in the pocket, camera in my rucksack and going to be heading out for some good clean country air, well at least to the \”Crook & Shear\” public house where a quick pint and fag should set me up for the return journey. Can\’t Wait……… just incase you\’ve lost my number I\’ll ring you next week to organise a curry night….:) Be Happy!
