Rain rain rain rain rain

Hmmm, isn’t East Africa supposed to be one of the most dry regions of the world? We arrived in Mombasa to find the roads flooded and that world aid was being called for to handle the problem. As anyone who has transitted through Mombasa will know, the road infrastructure is not exactly what we have come to expect in the UK. So it did take some skillful driving on the part of our driver to travel two hours north to our resort. I will never complain about a British pothole again. Anyway, here’s a snapshot Sam took from our seaview apartment. Flip flops provided by Gatwick duty free shopping.
