Body painting at Breathe

By nealejames | August 8, 2006

Creatively speaking, this has been one of the most incredibly rewarding days. Berkshire body and face painter Emma Cammack joined us in the studio for what felt like a ‘paint-a-thon.’ There are three pictures to demonstrate the day’s work. The concept and brief was to produce a series of pictures to melt our models into an engaging background. Each image took two hours to paint, four plus hours to retouch and edit on the computer - but just five minutes to shoot. After two hours of being painted with no room for physical movement, you certainly wouldn’t want a half hour shoot! Thanks Emma, you’re incredibly talented… and thanks Alex and Nana, you had the patience of Saints. Photo and blog (c) Neale James, Breathe Pictures.
