It gets right down the back of your shirt

Confetti… speaking as a photographer now, this can be one of those shots that exudes energy. The dash to the wedding car through a blizzard of confetti needs to be akin to a New York ticker-tape parade if you want this kind of shot to work. It’s worth spending just a few quid to buy a big bag of confetti. And for once we’re into an accessory that doesn’t necessarily need to cost much to look effective. Colour match it to the theme of the day perhaps. First things first. Vicars and registrars always have some pre ceremony annoucements. Hand them a card that they can read that instructs people about the following confetti idea. Back to school for a mo… make up twenty or thirty cardboard cones and have your ushers hand them out with the instruction NOT to throw any confetti until told. This can now be another Best Man duty if your photographer fails to organise it - incidentally we DO take this responsibility from Best Man. Make your guests form an avenue and when everyone’s ready, have the Bride and Groom make a dash for the end of the avenue! Click click click, movement, fun and laughter.
